Subject: [Esd-l] Fast-spreading worm is hitting us hard

That's what I get for taking a break to see "The Matrix Reloaded" at a
local theater this evening.

An e-mail worm whose text claims that it is a Microsoft security patch
(but actually exploits a MIME header buffer overflow in Outlook) is
hitting us fast and furious. Hundreds of messages in the past couple of
hours. Both John's sanitizer and mine are effective against it, because
it bears a standard .EXE file. But boy, what a mess it's making of the
Net -- reminds me of the multiplying "agents" in the movie. Ugh.
