It is. I've modified it for the entry on the home page.

Try:

*.[a-z0-9][a-z0-9][a-z0-9].[a-z0-9]+

...which is still pretty global. 

You could try to limit it to the really dangerous ones:

*.[a-z0-9][a-z0-9][a-z0-9].(exe|vb[es]|chm|mdb)

...but that may not be sufficiently proactive.
