Randall Munroe actually did endorse Obama for President on his blog. I still love xkcd.

Ugh, yeah I saw that the other day. Blech. (the slash fiction stuff)

On a palette cleansing note, here's a comic that's a mix of Calvin & Hobbes and Serenity:

Buyer's remorse?

That's terrific!

Huh. I took it as more anti-Palin/Pro-O tripe. Pres in 2010 (unless he knows something we don't)? That dumb bimbo doesn't even know what year to run in, lol amirite?! And babby! Because they just don't know what causes that up there where science hasn't penetrated so far!

Oh well. I still love the bejesus out of XKCD 99.999% of the time.

Stingray, did you read the rollover?

...er... he DID actively endorse Obama awhile back on his comic's blog. He made a point of disabling comments because he didn't want to get a lot of arguments.

His rationale was that he believed Obama was, and I quote, "the real deal."

Then again, he was a MIT guy, which is also the same university that employed (probably still employs) Noam Chomsky. Kind of odd to me - my university's engineering students were usually the only "conservative" types you could find.

His rationale was that he believed Obama was, and I quote, "the real deal."

Which is why I'm wondering if he's suffering "buyer's remorse."

Eh, I think he's just an equal-opportunity mocker, myself. We'll probably end up seeing.
