I envy Billy Beck's uncompromising attitude being perhaps too much on the squishier side myself but I will stand behind his vision and clarity of intellect foursquare.
In short: He's exactly right. Again.

I am scared. Not only did Obama win, but he has solid majorities in both houses. The next 2 years at least are going to be bad, very bad.

However, maybe the GOP will wake up and realize what they stand for. They will stop their stupid support of war, and the bigger government that comes with it. They will understand why they lost. They will fight for freedom and against socialism.

But I won't hold my breath.

"As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man --
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began --
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wobbling back to the Fire --
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!"
