I don't know, if some one shot my dogs or cats and my fiance was face down in their blood, and that's what I saw coming down the stairs- cops or not, I'd be shooting till they were dead or I was.

No- knock raids need to be banned- period. The drug war needs to end as well. Its maddening these stories.

Problem is the "war" on drugs is far too profitable to ever end.

The town over from mine (population: 6K ish) just got M-16s for their police force. No, not AR-15s. Honest-to-goodness M-16s. Full-auto.

For a fucking suburb with a crime rate consisting mainly of jaywalking and the ~ once a year house-break...

They've got an SUV cruiser. They have a Police Harley. They have a freaking police boat (they're on the river).

For a town of around 6,000 residents with no industrial base, very little commercial base, and one state highway (two-lane) down the middle.

Where's that money coming from?

If you guessed the WoD, take a cookie...

Matt,

Assume, for a few seconds, that the JBT's had the drop on you.

In those critical few seconds, your dog (I have two, and I love them like they're my kids) is shot.

The "arrest" isn't made, as it's a bogus call, they know it, and pack up and leave, just like our unfortunate mayor.

Then what?

You made any decisions as to what's gonna happen in the aftermath?

I have, and I've told my wife as such.

It's not pretty, I can tell you that, but I will have my vengeance, consequences be damned. I will teach someone a lesson on this, if it ever happens to be me, and I really don't give a shit if someone thinks less of me as a result.

theirritablearchitect- yes I have thought of the consequences. Maybe if enough people fight back, and enough cops die, they will rethink their policy. Doubtful, sure. But at least I'll have a little revenge. And I'd rather die knowing I fought against tyranny, then live knowing I submitted.

That's why you don't stop with cops.

Here's my problem with the rah-rah "cold dead hands" stuff: Y'all know I've stated my position before, but just going on a rampage shooting people who collect a .gov paycheck because they collect a .gov paycheck? Sorry. No. Wrong answer.

Problem is, I don't have a right answer either.

>>If you read the gun boards where incidents like this are reported regularly (which means, of course, they occur regularly), killing the dogs seems to be standard operating procedure.
