I'm happy that you were able to find that IBM Carbine you were looking for ... shouldn't you have said it "ran like a Selectric" instead of a sewing machine though?

"... dead-nuts on ..."

I'm cringing. That's some fine sight work there, Lou.

Don't you wish old men worked as well as old rifles? I wish this one did, my .22 I was shooting this weekend was wonderful, if only my eyes were as good. But more practice is going to improve me, to get up to the rifle's potential.

Nothing in the Gun Thing beats shooting an old rifle. Nothing.

Unless it's shooting an old rifle at a Commie.

I'll trade you an International Silver or an Underwood for a Postal Meter. All the 10-round aftermarket magazines I bought produce stovepipes and FTF jams - the GI ones run fine.

Oops, the big "U" isn't for Underwood, it's Union Hardware.
I found a Postal Meter trigger housing, now I can swap-out the infernal Quality Hardware one...
