FWIW, here's some input on an old topic.

My new Kimber Pro Covert II handles 185 grain Gold Dots like they were made for each other. I've put only about 250 rounds through it so far, and only 20 of those were Gold Dots. Now have some 230 grain Gold Dots to try.

And, with 230 grain Blazer RN, this sumbitch is accurate! Using the laser sights (to take my eyes out of the loop), I put 21 rounds at 10 yards into one small, ragged hole. It's my first ever 1911. Why didn't I do this before?

Edit hell, Photoshop can restor your youth better than two fist-fulls of Nancy Pelosi's brain-freeze botox!! :-)

Wasn't that a hoot!
I just downloaded the images from my camera that I took at last night's shoot. Will try to get them posted this week.

Heck of a storm we barely beat too. I could feel the tires part with pavement a few times from hydroplane as well.

The faux walls help keep the direct glare down from the flares while nicely lighting the targets.

Good to see you out there, Kevin! We'll have one final night pistol match in August then it's back to daylight!
