Well, gee, I'm just a simple electrician, I guess that makes me stupid and outside of his target demographic.

I want to see Bob Ricker's diploma showing his degree in psychology.
Also, I want to know if "whacko" is:
1. a clinical diagnosis
2. the preferred nomenclature for the condition.

Let's see I have a BS, two Masters including a MBA and just finished a PhD in Information Systems. I designed computer software for 28 years and I drink wine at dinner but I hate brie. I guess hating brie makes me stupid also.

Arguing with a mule doesn't reflect badly on the mule.......

Speaking of great folks shooting rifles, how come you haven't linked my Youtube Video of the Texas State Rifle Association Mid-Range Championship last weekend?
The other 15 guys and girls might want to see it.

Kind of like that.

The conceit that proponents of a civil society that is formidably armed with militarily credible armaments are uneducated, unsophisticated and bent thinking in contrast to their enlightened selves is pretty central to our neo liberal opponents theory of identity.

Why is it that whenever someone claims to be "sophisticated" that I think of this line from "The Princess Bride"?

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." — Inigo Montoya

Whenever someone claims to be "sophisticated" in a context like this it seems that they think they are somehow better than all of previous humanity just because they were born in the current modern ere. Then because they're magically delicious, er, magically different than earlier humans they think they can ignore the lessons of history.

Funny thing, though. Whenever someone makes such a claim to "sophistication" as an excuse to ignore history, it always manages to prove to me that they're not "sophisticated," they're simply ignorant fools.

I have a degree in Cinema and can discuss the fine critique of the art of film....

(and unlike the graduates of *some* film schools, I can go out and shoot one, too....)

Please forgive me for not being so well-educated.

BA Computer Science, UC Berkeley
MS Computer Science, NMSU
