Wouldn't it make the Lefties sick to know that a "Rightwinger", an in-your-face second amendment advocate no less, was one of the first responders.

I wonder why we haven't seen this story on ANY of the major news outlets. Oh, forgot, doesn't play into their hand.

The other thing that got my attention (and was not the focus of the post, which is why I didn't mention it there) is the multiple mention of the police officers carrying AR-15 "evil black assault semi-automatic high-power high-capacity machinegun bullet-hoses only good for spray-firing from the hip and killing a lot of people at one time."

Strange, isn't it, that the police should want that kind of firepower?

Assuming the Violence Policy Center and the Brady Bunch aren't lying to us, that is.

Heaven forbid.

Cops with "high capacity bullet hoses" is the norm; the rest of us use major-caliber rifles we can hit with.

Homer,

Well said. If they bed-wetters only knew the truth about those deer rifles that they keep saying are OK. ;)

not to mention the certainty of rifled slugs out of oh-so-politically-correct-that-john-kerry-can -carry-them shotguns.

Anything out to 100 yards is a stencil-to-be.
