Best movie I have seen this year. I really loved it. I also happened to be in Wendover one weekend when they crew was shooting background shots with the old cars around the hotels.

There is a ton of well wriiten info about Burt on the web. He really was a character.

I saw that movie in New Zealand back in December (it was released there a few months before it was here). Everyone I know that's seen it has enjoyed it, including the women. According to my friends in NZ, Hopkins nailed the Southland accent perfectly (except for maybe a one or two spots). Apparently it's a little tricky to cast that accent since it's different from most of the rest of the country.

Second that opinion. Brilliant movie. I think it might not be getting the publicity it deserves because, I believe, it's actually a foreign film (NZ).
I did, however, see a couple of commercials for it on cable.
