There's no need to deal with it instantly. It uses file annotations,
which aren't in Acrobat Reader. 

But in the long run, antivirus programs will probably need to peek
inside PDF files, just as they do with ZIP files. One of the things
that complicates this is the encryption which Dmitri Sklyarov has been
jailed for breaking. If an antivirus program can't read an encapsulated
file, how can it recognize a virus?
