Hash: SHA1

The procmail sanitizer has been updated. The current version is 1.104
It is available via:

US: ftp://ftp.rubyriver.com/pub/jhardin/antispam/procmail-security.html
EU: ftp://kanon.net/pub/jhardin/antispam/procmail-security.html

- From the News section of the home page:

05/10/00 Added ".vbe" to the executable extensions list.
Fixed a problem where a message that was *only* a poisoned executable
(e.g. no text body at all) wouldn't be quarantined.

Please add "*.vbe" to your poisoned executables list.

Version: PGP 5.0
Charset: noconv

Also: I've finally figured out the proper way to do the handling of
attachment names. Look for another update later this week.

Basically: proper security policy is "anything not expressly allowed
is prohibited." The sanitizer will be modified so that you specify a
list of *acceptable* extensions that will *not* be mangled, and
everything else gets mangled and compared to the poisoned list.

I apologize that it took me this long to see the light.

"Bother," said Pooh as he struggled with /etc/sendmail.cf, "it never
does quite what I want. I wish Christopher Robin was here."
